Introduction
Master in Biomedical Engineering
Biomedical engineers with this solid education shall be capable of understanding, modeling, and creating complex biomedical systems. This multidisciplinary program aims to form professionals capable of finding innovative technological solutions for healthcare-related problems, in areas such as medical imaging, medical instrumentation, medical physics, radiotherapy, biodevices, biomaterials, processing and analysis of biomedical signals, bioinformatics, medical information management, etc; who produce an effective benefit to medical diagnosis and treatment, clinical monitoring and control and quality of life in general. It is also an objective that these professionals can contribute to the technological and scientific development in the context of high-level research to develop, for example, at national or foreign research units in the areas of biomedical engineering
