Introduction
The central objective of the MUCyTAB is to provide highly qualified and multidisciplinary scientific training in Analytical and Bioanalytical Sciences and Technologies to graduates from Degrees in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biology, Health Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Environmental Sciences, Criminalistics and Forensic Sciences and Technologies, Food Science and Technology, Experimental Sciences, Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering and Physical Engineering, through the acquisition of highly specialized knowledge, skills and competencies. The Master addresses Analytical and Bioanalytical Techniques and Technologies at the forefront of Spectroscopic and Electrochemical Analysis, Mass Spectrometry and its coupling to Chromatographic and Electrophoretic Separation Techniques, as well as state-of-the-art Sensors and Biosensors.
This cutting-edge also includes Sample Preparation Techniques, Analysis of Biomolecules, Omic Technologies, (Bio)Manufacturing, Micro/Nano (Bio)Sensing, and Nanomaterials in Bioanalysis. The experimental and practical dimension of the Master's is acquired with advanced Experimental Techniques and Technologies to complete the development of competencies and skills in scientific research. A School of Analytical and Bioanalytical Sciences and Technologies is proposed, where transversal aspects that a scientific research professional must receive are addressed, which also aims to be another hallmark of the Master's Degree.
Ideal Students
Graduates in Chemistry and other related degrees in Experimental Sciences (Pharmacy, Biology, Health Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Environmental Sciences, Criminalistics and Forensic Sciences and Technologies, Food Science and Technology, Experimental Sciences, Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering and Engineering Physical).
