Master of Public Health

The Master of Public Health is a professional degree that provides a population-based perspective and is designed to prepare students to investigate and manage public health problems.

The Council on Education fully accredits the Upstate Public Health program in Public Health (CEPH).

After they earn their Public Health degree, our students can apply their knowledge and skills to solve wide-ranging public health problems by translating sound research into beneficial programs and policies.

Upstate Public Health students represent a broad range of individuals from within and outside the health care professions. Among them are recent college graduates from various majors, nurses, lawyers, administrators, physician assistants, medical students, and physicians. Class sessions and group projects are greatly enriched by the unique perspectives that each student brings.
