The Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences (MSBS) program at Rocky Vista University (RVU) is a 9-month, full-time, in-person post-baccalaureate program designed to prepare students for advanced degree programs in biomedical disciplines.

Mission Statement
The Rocky Vista University Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences program will provide an opportunity for students with diverse backgrounds and life experience to strengthen their educational foundation in the biomedical sciences, cultivate critical thinking skills, and prepare for careers in the health sciences.
Goals
- To train graduate students in the principles and experimental methodologies of biomedical sciences as they relate to health and disease
- To ensure graduates develop the requisite critical thinking skills and knowledge to satisfy a goal of entry into professional education and/or advanced degrees in the discipline

Scholarships and Funding
Scholarships include:
Brandon Trusell Service MSBS Scholarship: Awarded to one incoming student committed to service, providing a tuition waiver of $2,500 ($1,250 per semester) for one year.
RVU Challenge MSBS Scholarship: For one incoming student who has overcome hardships, offering a tuition waiver of $2,500 ($1,250 per semester) for one year.
MSBS Inclusivity Scholarship: The RVU MSBS Program aims to enrich diversity and support underrepresented students in overcoming financial barriers. Eligible incoming students can apply for the 2024-2025 MSBS Inclusivity Scholarship to help achieve their medical career goals.
