Introduction
Master in Biomedical engineering
Biomedical engineering is a multidisciplinary subject by the merger of natural science, engineering, and medicine. The structure, function, and various life phenomena of people’s body are studied in different levels based on the principle and method of natural science and modern engineering technology. The main applications include the research on materials, productions, instruments, and systems for prevention, diagnosis, nursing, treatment, healthcare, health procreation, rehabilitation from diseases, et al.
The aim of this specialty is training the graduate students to be the high-level professional talents. The students must master the fundamental knowledge of life sciences, electronic technology, computer technology, informatics, and possess the scientific research ability to merge medicine and engineering technology. In addition, they will be familiar with the advanced technology and method of biomedical informatics, biomedical signal processing, biomedical image processing, designing and repairing of advanced biomedical instruments, the development of medical computer program, hospital modern information management and telemedicine, and be able to undertake researching, designing, teaching and managing in the field of biomedical, medical instrument and other electronic technology, computer technology, information industry and biology technology.
