The distance learning course in medical professions with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree is aimed at people who work in health, therapy and nursing professions as part-time training. Access professions with a three-year training period are permitted for this course, namely physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, geriatric care and health and nursing (others on request). In addition to well-founded practical and theoretical knowledge from the diverse fields of activity in the health professions, the course imparts in-depth knowledge of social and economic sciences.

For a better compatibility of studies and work and a greater location independence, students can usually take part in the face-to-face events for this course on Saturdays, either close to home in one of the numerous Germany-wide study centers of the DIPLOMA University or in a digital version with live online seminars.
