Introduction
Take your nursing practice to new levels as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Brenau University’s Mary Inez Grindle School of Nursing offers you two great options to earn your Master of Science in Nursing Family Nurse Practitioner degree: Earn your MSN FNP in our full-time online 20-month program or in our part-time, hybrid three-year program.
With this degree, you can advance your clinical knowledge, learn about caring for patients across their lifespans, and deepen your leadership and research skills. The program includes online coursework, practicum experiences, and Saturday classes at our Norcross campus. After graduation, you will be prepared to take one of the national licensure exams from either the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and become an FNP. In practice, you’ll be equipped to provide preventive and primary care, including developing treatment plans, ordering tests, prescribing medications, and more, depending on the state in which you work.
