A physiotherapist, as a member of a health team, have important roles particularly in physical therapy units, orthopedics, neurology, burns, cardiology, pediatrics, and gynecology clinics. A physiotherapist is also an important member of a rehabilitation center.

İstanbul Medipol University, Department of Biomedical Engineering has been established in 2014. The students, who successfully graduate from the 4-years bachelor's degree program of the department, are entitled Biomedical Engineers.Each year the department accepts 20 students with full scholarship. The education language is English, where language preparation class is mandatory. However, those who can prove their efficiency in English, can directly start with the regular program.

The aim of Nursing Programs is to train a nurse with knowledge, skills and attitudes that will provide comprehensive nursing care in the protection, development, treatment and rehabilitation of the health of the individual, family and society in line with the basic information about health sciences and the health needs of the society.

Bachleor in Nursing is aimed to teach graduated nurses who could protect,maintain and improve health of person,family and society in accordance with universal values, national and international standards,realities and needs of country; conduct education, management and research roles; who are ready for nursing role that is getting autonomy; could share knowledge; has ethical values; make people feel valuable themselves; are sensitive for social events, competent in their profession and preferred in health care areas; who could take roles for scientifical research in health services, go on for postgraduate and doctorate; will be able to be academician in future and who could continue professional and individual improvement with the life span learning approach.

The MSc in Occupational Health is a full-time program which provides a multidisciplinary approach to occupational health management in the workplace, including occupational medicine and hygiene, ergonomics, epidemiology, psychology, public health, risk assessment and management, law and training and development.

The fundamental purpose of dental education is to help our students transform into dental professionals and a member of the healthcare team; make sure that, after graduation, they will show a holistic approach to patient care, and be fully aware that oral conditions have a direct impact on overall health and disease, take effective and preventive medicine measures when delivering dental services; and ensure that they will be capable of using clinical judgment and decision-making skills, have the necessary skills to diagnose, treat and prevent the oral health problems and disease both at individual and collective levels.

The mission of Clinical Pharmacy Master's program, is embracing the basic philosophy of clinical pharmacy, which implements the practicing pharmacy professions' tasks required for pharmaceutical care, practicing and performing scientific developments, followed by professional practice of pharmacist, with the current evidence-based methodology within the framework of the practice of medicine, to train clinical pharmacists to contribute scientific, academic and cultural heritage of our country.

The purpose of this program; with professional nursing consciousness, individuals at national and international levels, family and responsive to community health problems and care needs, the concept of nursing-specific key issues and which they are based, model/theory, can access information on the principles and methods that can assess, capable of scientific research, acquired knowledge and can pass on skills practice and nursing education field, teaching principles and methods that can be used to train scientific experts in the nursing field.

T.C.
