This master's degree program in medical physics is a multidisciplinary two-year master's degree program that combines high-level research and teaching. The program is designed for all nationalities, and a maximum of 15 students will be accepted into it.

The objective of the PhD Program Medical Physics is to provide excellent training opportunities in the various fields of Medical Physics. The study program Medical Biophysics is an interdisciplinary branch of science that employs virtually all biological fields and is focused on scientific study and independent research activities in interdisciplinary settings, from natural science up to clinical medical work. This branch of science originated from the need to separate medical applications observing interactions of physical fields and radiation with a living organism from the bulk of technological and biological disciplines. The goal of the study of Medical Biophysics is understanding basic biological processes for development in innovative methods and/or devices for clinical application in diagnosis and therapy. Doctorands, further to their Master's education, are recruited for scientific and research projects at the training institutions and motivated by their Supervising Tutors to solve scientific and research problems of their own. In keeping with the recent developments, the program Medical Biophysics is also focused on the interconnection of the studies with the needs of clinical practice. The program is carried out without any specialization.

The B.S. in Biomedical Physics is an interdisciplinary program developed to provide students pursuing careers in Medical Physics and Health Physics with the necessary background in Physics, Mathematics, and Biology.

Radiation Therapists are highly trained medical professionals who collaborate with the Radiation Oncologist to deliver ionizing radiation to patients for the eradication of pathology, primarily cancer. Radiation Therapy practice includes treatment delivery, treatment simulation, medical dosimetry and patient care. These activities require a solid background in anatomy and physiology, physics, chemistry and mathematics to work in this highly specialized and rapidly advancing field.
