At the same time, it will bring advanced knowledge and skills that are well suited to the practice of advanced optometry.

Transfer of credits: implies that in the official academic documents accrediting the successive teachings for each student, the totality of the credits obtained in official teachings taken previously, in the same or in another university, that have not led to the obtaining of an official title.SaidasThe master's degree in Optometry will have a mixed, professional and research orientation, and is aimed especially at graduates in optics and optometry and also at other degrees in health sciences and science, interested in improving knowledge in the areas of optometry to apply them to research and professional specialization in primary visual care at the levels of promotion, prevention, diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation and scientific and technological research.
The blended nature of the master is justified by its eminently practical orientation aimed at direct application in the different fields of employability of the professionals who request it, either in the facet of clinical optometrist or in a development as a researcher in different organizations and singular research centers. Through this proposal, the aim is to train professionals with high performance capacity in different specialized aspects of optometry, demanded by companies and organizations in the health field, such as the growing demand from the geriatric organizations sector, sectors of low vision and visual rehabilitation; as well as research in different fields of biomedicine and visual health.
