Plan, develop and, where appropriate, supervise the process of psychological evaluation of the different types of psychological and neuropsychological disorders, as well as the psychological factors involved in health and disease processes, in different contexts, to establish, as a result from that evaluation, the correct diagnosis.
Design, develop, supervise and, where appropriate, evaluate plans and programs for psychological intervention and treatment, based on the diagnosis and the individual and social variables that concur in each case, and in accordance with the objective of the intervention (prevention, treatment, rehabilitation).
Show adequate interpersonal communication and emotion management skills for an effective therapist / patient interaction, in the processes of problem identification, evaluation, communication of the diagnosis and intervention and follow-up.

Credit transfer and recognition:

Thus, its training program trains psychologists for professional performance in the field of General Health Psychology, enabling them to carry out research, evaluations and psychological interventions on those aspects of behavior and activity of people that influence the promotion and improvement of their general state of health, provided that these activities do not require specialized attention from other health professionals.
Along with the arguments presented, based on academic interest, demand analysis, and current regulations, there are scientific considerations that support the relevance of this Master. These are lines that have professional and social relevance, such as prevention and action programs on eating disorders, addictions; behavior problems in adolescence; prevention and treatment of depression; quality of life in chronic physical disease, and normal and pathological aging, among others. This scientific background will allow the advanced training offered to future professionals to have the maximum level of updating with respect to the advances derived from research.
