Introduction
M.S. Therapeutic Recreation
Therapeutic Recreation is an allied health profession that utilizes recreation and plays experiences to facilitate health promotion and rehabilitation for individuals across the lifespan.
The objective of the Master of Therapeutic Recreation program is twofold:
To provide specialization courses for individuals who already have their B.S. in Therapeutic Recreation and Leisure Studies to advance their career.
To prepare students without a B.S. in Therapeutic Recreation to become eligible for the national certification examination.
